Our Story

VerumGen Labs grew out of a long-standing commitment to scientific rigor and the conviction that scientific method is not optional, but an obligation. Years of hands-on work in biotechnology and analytical development revealed that meaningful results require discipline, order, and the freedom to design experiments properly and choose the right methods, even when that path is more demanding.

VerumGen was founded as an independent laboratory to apply these principles consistently and without shortcuts. It was built as a well-ordered research environment that supports credible analysis, reproducible data, and collaboration grounded in shared standards.

The intellectual foundations of the laboratory are reflected in the figures displayed within it: John Paul II (Jan Paweł II), Marie Curie-Skłodowska (Maria Skłodowska-Curie), Nicolaus Copernicus (Mikołaj Kopernik), Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Together they represent the enduring dialogue between faith and reason, the philosophical pursuit of truth, and the disciplined method and responsibility that underpin scientific inquiry. Inspired in part by John Paul II’s encyclical Fides et Ratio, this vision affirms that scientific work flourishes when reason, ethical responsibility, and a search for ultimate truth remain in harmony.

Looking ahead, VerumGen aims to support the biosciences by providing a space that models careful, disciplined research and by contributing to the development of researchers, including young scientists, through example and practice.

Collaborative Approach

VerumGen Labs places a high priority on collaboration with local biotechnology companies, academic institutions, and innovators across the Midwest, while also actively seeking partnerships beyond North Dakota and the United States. We view collaboration as essential to scientific progress—helping bridge gaps in infrastructure, share expertise, and strengthen capabilities across regional, national, and international research communities.

At the regional level, VerumGen supports the growing biotechnology presence in the Fargo area through engagement with structured initiatives such as the annual BioScience Summit, which brings together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss scientific trends, workforce development, and cross-sector collaboration in bioscience and biotechnology innovation.

By engaging with peers and partners locally and regionally, VerumGen contributes to a collaborative environment that advances research rigor, attracts talent, and fosters sustainable industry growth.
